Morning Dive at Casa Cenote

Diving cenote and reef the estimated time would be:

8:00 AM – Arrival and Briefing: Arrive at Casa Cenote with your dive gear. The dive instructor provides a detailed briefing on the day’s plan, safety procedures, and a description of the cenote’s unique features.

9:00 AM – Dive Preparation: Set up your equipment and perform buddy checks. Ensure your tank is filled and all gear is in working order.

9:30 AM – First Dive: Casa Cenote: Enter the crystal-clear waters of Casa Cenote. The shallow depth (6-8 meters) and excellent visibility make for a relaxing and enjoyable dive. Explore the mangrove roots, observe tarpon and catfish, and marvel at the interplay of freshwater and saltwater layers. The dive lasts about 45-60 minutes.

10:30 AM – Surface Interval: Exit the water and take a break. Enjoy some refreshments, hydrate, and discuss the dive with your group. This is also a good time to review any photos or videos taken during the dive.

Afternoon Dive at Cuevitas Reef

12:00 PM – Travel to Cuevitas Reef: Pack up your gear and travel to the nearby Cuevitas Reef, a short drive away. Cuevitas Reef is located just offshore, offering easy access for divers.

1:00 PM – Briefing and Gear Setup: Receive a briefing on the dive site, including key features and safety considerations. Set up your second tank and prepare your gear for the reef dive.

1:30 PM – Second Dive: Cuevitas Reef: Begin your dive at Cuevitas Reef. Descend to a depth of around 12-15 meters. The reef is teeming with marine life, including colorful coral formations, tropical fish, and possibly even sea turtles. The dive typically lasts 45-60 minutes, offering ample time to explore the vibrant underwater ecosystem.

2:30 PM – End of Dive and Debrief: Exit the water and disassemble your gear. Participate in a debrief with the dive instructor, discussing highlights and any points of interest observed during the dive.

3:00 PM – Wrap Up: Pack up your equipment and enjoy some time relaxing by the beach. Reflect on the day’s adventures, exchange stories with fellow divers, and review any photos or videos captured.
